The Vox Weather station has a 12 Month warranty and should the device be faulty, it needs to be sent in for repairs via a courier service to the provided address at that time. The following is not covered under warranty:
- Faults resulting from normal wear and tear after 12 months.
- Damage arising from negligence, abuse or incorrect usage of the product.
- Damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product.
- Damage arising from installing the product
- Damage arising from unauthorized alterations to the product.
- Damages due to lightning or severe weather such as hail or wind or any other drastic forces of nature
- Damages to any of the sensors due to insect, bird or animal damage.
Pole should be higher than 2 metres from a roof or near-by structure.

The Vox Weather Station measures in real time:
- Measures temperature between -40 to 80 Deg Celsius.
- Wind speed and direction from 3 to 140Km/h.
- Humidity from 0 to 100%.
- Rainfall with a rain gauge in increments of 0.25mm.
- Barometric pressure from 300 to 1100mb.
- Solar irradiation from 430 to 1100nm.
- UV Index from 1 to 10
- Sends updates every 10 minutes to the weather server.
The weather station has a 6 Volt, 2-Watt solar panel that charges two lithium-ION batteries that makes the station self-sufficient for power.
The weather station has a built-in communication module that uses mobile networks to send data to the weather server and does not need to be connected to the Internet.
The subscription charge of R139pm provides access to the online web based services allowing you access to your stations: Status, reports, graphs, settings, wind turbine assessment program, data analysis, agricultural programs, Fire Danger Index, climatological report, station forecasts, information on pests, diseases, crop spraying, bovine mortality index and much more.
Alert setting can be set and emailed to the user. The monthly charge also covers the data costs incurred for the transport of the weather station.
The weather station can be installed on a mounting pole of 45-70mm diameter and a minimum 30cm length to attach the unit to.
We highly recommend a good steady pole (avoids wind vibration which affects sensor readings and longevity) with grounded earth line if possible. Pole should be higher than 2 meters from a roof or near-by structure.
Yes on request the weather station can be installed professionally at an additional charge of R2,399 on request. Travel is charged @ R5,67/km outside a 50Km radius of a metro.
